Prior to his call to ministry, Rev. Rick was one of the first economists to work with the pioneers of Artificial Intelligence. “AI will shake up the world of work. Beyond the economic implications, I believe that AI will destroy a sense of ‘meaning’ for millions of white and blue collar workers,” Rev. Rick predicts. He believes that this ironically will create a new wave of spiritual seekers. Will communities like SLC be prepared to be of love and service for these new seekers?

In John 7:24 Jesus tells us not to judge by appearance, but to judge with righteous judgement.  Let's talk about what that means in our day to day lives, and how unconscious our judgements can be. A photographer, who in the course of knowing Mother Theresa, observed how she always approached each person with love, compassion, and the gift of her complete self. When asked about this she replied, "I never judge anyone because it doesn't allow me the time to love them." Let's use our time to Love!
